High-Quality Social Media Marketing Drives Growth on Cannabis Sales Platforms
Founded in 2009, Sticky Buds offers quality cannabis products and accessories to the people of Denver, Colorado (assuming you’re 21 or older, of course). In November 2012, when Colorado became the first state in the U.S. to legalize recreational marijuana Sticky Buds became a hot spot for recreational products. As of 2017, they have two recreational dispensaries conveniently located in Denver and are well-known for cultivating happiness.
With the client’s social channels having been inactive for some time, Sticky Buds needed our help re-establishing their online presence. With specific growth goals for followers and engagement needing to be met, research determined that the best solution was a complete overhaul of their platforms.
Our design team created unique graphics to visually organize product offerings, make content more aesthetically appealing to followers, and incorporate high-quality photos to achieve a magazine ‘look and feel’ on Instagram. In correlation to peak store visitor hours, we expanded on the categories of product which were being shared. We refreshed the brand style guide online, considered composition, color palette, and captions, paying particular attention to keywords on Instagram, we sought to incorporate the brand into the large cannabis community by sharing relevant content, articles, and events. With a strong focus on lifestyle, we were able to create a consistent voice and unique brand personality for the brand.
